Went to meet elise and purdee for lunch! haha finally we get to meet and catch up on each others' lives. purdee brought us to katong for series of eating! OMG so shiok la.lol.
first stop : Astons
Wat it serves: not just western food, but nice western food =D
How i feel : tat place is such a good place to eat and chill out! i ordered charboiled chicken and its sooo tender! when u take a closer look u can actually see the colour of chicken thigh which is pink= just right =) and it only cost $5.90! inclusive of GST and 2 sides (p.s.: they have very nice mashed potato =D )

second stop : Sing Hoh Chicken Rice
wat it serves : duh
How i feel : they have special rice, rice tat tastes abit like nuo mi fan (dunno how to spell in english =p) must give credits to their chicken, tender and smooth, vege normal. overall : Good =)

Third stop : some cake/pie shop at some katong shopping centre (its ulu)
wat it serves : pies and tarts
How i feel : we only bought mini chocolate tarts at $0.70 but it was nice! the filling is very generously thick and the crust is well done. good job! purdee told me that when its xmas of CNY, you can see a looooonng que outside that small little shop. must be really something =) the peach tarts looked good too, selling at 2 bucks per slice and 20 bucks for 10 slices=full pie.

after these 3 stops we are both full and very satisfied. haha. elise went to meet her friend and purdee and i went parkway parade for shopping =)
